Oven Roasted Green Beans with Balsamic Glaze

Here is an easy recipe for oven roasted green beans. This works well adding in other mixed veggies also!  Oven Roasting veggies is easy and really brings out their natural delicious flavor.
roasted green beans

1 1/2 pounds green beans*
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Directions:
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.  Trim the woody end off of the green beans and add to a large bowl.  Toss with the olive oil, salt and pepper and spread out evenly on a baking sheet.  Roast, stirring once halfway through, until lightly browned. 12 to 15 minutes.
*Water and roasting don't mix.  Your vegetables should be dry before roasting them.  Otherwise, they will steam instead of roast.
I love to top off my roasted veggies with a drizzle of balsamic glaze!
