3 Ingredient Cherry Cobbler

We were recently reminiscing about holiday dishes.  We recalled this delicious cherry cobbler that used to be at every meal.  I asked around and we pieced together the recipe we remember.  It is an easy go to dessert when you need to bring something, but are short on time.  NO ONE will ever guess how easy this was to make!  It is so delicious.  Serve it as is or over vanilla ice cream.  This past Thanksgiving we ate it for breakfast while we watched the parade.

Ingredients:
 (1) 30 ounce can of Cherry Pie Filling & Topping (I prefer Duncan Hines Comstock Original Country ).
(1) 9 ounce box of Jiffy Golden Yellow Cake Mix (Walmart carries this)
(1) Stick of butter (melted)

chopped pecans (optional)

Directions:
Dump the cherry filling in an 8x8 pan.  Sprinkle the dry cake mix over the cherries in the pan.  Melt the butter in the microwave and then drizzle it over the cake mix.  Top with chopped pecans if desired.  Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes or until the top is slightly golden brown.
